Dreams PS4 Beta Delayed To 2017, Here’s The Sitch
Like most of you have figured, the Dreams PS4 Beta delayed to 2017 is no surprise to us all. Today Media Molecule made a statement to what was originally supposed to launch in 2016. If you can remember during a past livestream, Media Molecule stated even they don’t realize how big the game could be. This is well known for user generated content games such as Little Big Planet.
“..the enormity of it has taken even us by surprise. And rather than cutting corners we are staying true to our vision – that Dreams isn’t just about drawing, or sculpting, but also game creation, storytelling, animation, music and sound, all rolled into one whole beautiful PlayStation game. ” – Siobhan. With such a wonderful and massive project like Dreams you definitely want a 100% all-around polished game even for its beta. So far we’ve seen drawing, sculpting, storytelling, and animation. The only thing missing is music and sound. Technically we have heard a couple of tracks made in dreams but haven’t seen the actual process in a live stream. Check 1min , and 5min 57s into the Dreams PS4 – Exclusive In-development Gameplay with Shuhei Yoshida video. You can also hear Bogdans track at 3min 13s in the Rocket Game made on Train Jam 2016 livestream.
Most likely as soon as you get notice of the next livestream to focus on music and sound, you’ll know the beta is around the corner. The audio creation in Dreams PS4 is said to be something really amazing.
