Media Molecule makes LittleBigPlanet in DreamsPS4
Today on a very special livestream, Media Molecule makes LittleBigPlanet in DreamsPS4! Yes you are seeing this correctly, this is not a new LBP game but a recreation of the first level in LBP1 with the famous skateboard scene.
LBP was released October 27th 2008 and worldwide on November 5th; its been awhile! Multiple generations of people have grown up with the game and it has had a significant impact in our lives no matter how little or BIG. The evolution of Play, Create, Share on the PS4, PSP, PS Vita and PS4 have constantly provided fun and amazment non-stop. There we many times were people have wondered “what’s next” or “how did they do that” and it still happens to this day within the LBP franchise. Now this will not only continue but amplify with the new IP; Dreams. This amazing recreation of LittleBigPlanet in DreamsPS4 made by @monsterplant even surprised a developer or two at Media Molecule:

Everything from the poppets, sackboy customization, gnomes, even the layer system in LBP was recreated in Dreams. This should put away any doubt you may have had on how creative you can be in DreamsPS4. Although there are no textures in Dreams, there are tricks you can do to alleviate your texture needs as well as “finishes” to change how an object looks whether its shiny, metallic, etc. Check out the comparison on the made between the LBP1 level and the LittleBigPlanet DreamsPS4 level:
